Privacy policy

When you create an account we store your email address, display name, profile photo and the recipes, cookbooks, shopping lists and comments you create. This data is used only to run the service and is never sold.

Prompts you send to the recipe generator and chef chat are processed by AI providers to produce answers. Please don't include personal information in prompts.

MySous stores a small number of cookies and similar on-device storage:

• Sign-in storage – keeps you logged in. This is strictly necessary for the service and doesn't require consent.
• Your cookie choice – remembers whether you accepted or declined advertising cookies, and when you decided.
• Advertising cookies – set by Google AdSense to show and measure ads. These load only if you accept, and only in regions where consent is required are you asked first.

You can change your advertising choice at any time: open cookie settings. Withdrawing consent stops advertising cookies straight away.

The free version of MySous is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, which may set cookies and use device identifiers to show and measure ads. You can control personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings.

Some product links are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Sponsored placements are always labelled.

You can delete recipes, comments and your profile information at any time from within the app, and control whether your recipes appear in the community feed from the settings panel. To delete your account entirely, contact us and we will remove your data.
